    • Great opportunity to join a well-established, national, high profile Company in the building and construction industry.  Our Client is a leader in providing innovative building solutions to their customer base primarily in the commercial and industrial sectors.  The company manufacture, distribute, and install a comprehensive specialized range of building products and systems, as well as being able to offer design and construction services across Australia, a true solutions provider of high-performance building systems!

    •  Reporting directly to the General Manager and based in either Melbourne or Brisbane, you will be responsible for optimizing the Companies project focus through the active promotion, specification, and sale of a range of quality specialized building products and systems.  This will involve:  proactively targeting and leveraging off your existing relationships with the Architectural fraternity and Tier 1 Builders to gain specification (or take specification), continuing to build on your network and fostering relationships to maximise the companies profile and capability in the marketplace, the design and active delivery of CPD presentations,  CRM & data base project information management, and  following through the entire  sales process to complete the sale.   

    • The ideal candidate will have Tertiary qualifications – ideally in Architecture / Design or Engineering and may have external cladding, roofing, or insulation product experience (although not critical).  However, as an Architectural Sales / Specification Professional, you will:  demonstrate 10+ years successful experience in the specification of building products & systems demonstrating a strong network of relationships with Tier 1 Builders, Architects, & Specifiers,  have proven ability to grasp technical concepts, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (including experience with CPD presentations), be tenacious and demonstrate capability in following through a long and often complex sales process, be IT literate, have used various industry tools (including BCI or Cordell, Estimate 1 etc), be disciplined, organized, resilient, team oriented and enjoying working with autonomy across a business to achieve great results.
