    • Salary range: $180 – 230K + Super + Bonus   NEG

    • Great opportunity to join a well-established medium to large sized Australian Company in the manufacturing sector.  The Company is a non-listed Public entity with a high profile and considered one of Australia’s leading manufacturers in the materials / construction products field. 

    • Reporting to the General Manager, and part of the Executive Management team, you will be responsible for: the planning, implementation, and management of all finance related activities of the company including budgeting, forecasting, capital assessment, assisting the development of the strategic review and various banking and insurance related negotiations. You will also be required to act in the capacity of Company Secretary for quarterly board meetings and be responsible for corporate governance, compliance, and other statutory requirements relating to Board activities.  In leading and managing your team (finance administration and ICT functions), you will be involved in overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring efficiencies and sound practice, supporting the GM, and being an active participant in the Management Executive Team.   The role is also responsible for managing the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) function in the company which includes maintaining appropriate service levels around all relevant information technology systems and ensuring that appropriate back-up systems are in place. 

    • You will either have a proven track record at the CFO level working within a large company in the manufacturing sector ($80M + turnover) OR ready to advance to this level in your career having ideally worked in manufacturing companies in mid to senior financial management positions for 10+ years.  Further, you will have: CA/CPA qualifications, strong evaluation, financial analysis and forecasting skills, experience with Treasury functions, Business Law, Insurance & other finance related activities,  strategic capability and able to highlight future requirements, strong decision making skills, an understanding of information technology networks, Accounting / ERP packages,  demonstrate strong “hands on” leadership and management skills, have excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills, good organizational skills and be professional and proactive.
