  • "Hands on" Sales Manager  (Ref 401726)

    • As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a small sales team as well as concurrently managing your own sales budget and customer list.  As Sales Manager you will be responsible for ensuring overall Company financial and business objectives are achieved, working with your team to maximise the companies market position, fostering a proactive and professional team culture where everyone is focused on the same outcome – to increase sales and business opportunities, continue to increase the companies profile and positioning in the marketplace, consistently provide a high level of customer service, ensure usage and adherence of company systems and processes.   In focusing on growing the business, you will be very proactive in coaching / guiding / mentoring your team, as well as taking the lead in building on your own customer relationships and customer base, actively calling on a range of customers including Builders, Trade Contractors, Resellers etc.   

    • The ideal candidate will have a proven background in the building industry where you have been a successful sales representative and then moved into Sales Management coaching and working with sales teams to achieve success.  You will demonstrate excellent planning and time management skills, strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, be commercially street smart, results oriented, IT literate, and truly love actively calling on customers and building strong commercial relationships.  This is a great opportunity to be close to the marketplace – yet at the same time use your management experience to drive, guide and influence a sales team.
