    • Join a well-established Australian processing and distribution Company that provides an extensive range of building products and services to meet their customer’s needs.   The company is committed to safety, driving efficiency, and providing quality product and innovative service solutions.  Currently, they are seeking a proven Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager to join their team.

    • Reporting to the State Manager, as one of several BDM’s you will be responsible for: managing and further developing existing Major Key Accounts, building strong commercial relationships by gaining a full understanding of their business product and application requirements, providing exceptional service, effective problem solving, and issue resolution.  You will also be required to manage smaller customers proactively building on those relationships to increase product sales / volume. Ultimately, you will be responsible for a significant sales volume & budget, and continue to grow the company sales, profit, and market share. 

    • The ideal candidate will have a proven background in sales in the building industry.  You will have demonstrated managing and developing major /  key customers, account analysis, and growing sales volume / revenue.  You will be: both analytical and strategic with the ability to apply your strong commercial skills, a strong planner and have excellent organizational skills, articulate and able to communicate effectively at senior level, flexible and adaptive, and be able to deliver real value to your customers.  Further, you will be proactive, results oriented, and enjoy building strong business commercial business relationships.  Tertiary qualifications are well regarded but not essential.
