    • Great opportunity to join a well-established, national, high profile Company in the building and construction industry.  Our Client is a leader in providing innovative building solutions to their customer base primarily in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors.  The Company manufacture, distribute and install a comprehensive specialised range of building products and systems, as well as being able to offer design and construction services across Australia; a true solutions provider of high performance building systems!

    • As General Manager, reporting to the EGM, your role will be to continue to drive this medium sized national business within the Group to the next level of success by proactively leading, developing, managing, and challenging your team to achieve set company objectives, sales revenue and profit margins.   In spearheading the direction and focus of the business, you will be involved in all aspects of sales and operations, including working across the Company Group with other senior Managers / State Managers and key Stakeholders, delivering strategic business initiatives, and working closely in managing your team / profit centre. You will be involved in all aspects of the business throughout Australia – in particular sales, marketing (product development, technology development), managing key customers and relationships as well as manufacturing & operations (multiple manufacturing sites), project management, process & operational efficiencies, OH & S, finance,  etc

    • You will be a proven and successful “Hands on”, Proactive & Entrepreneurial Leader having worked in medium to large sized businesses in the building products industry, and can therefore demonstrate:  a strong knowledge & technical understanding of the building and construction industry in the Commercial, Retail, Industrial & Residential sectors throughout Australia, the management of a continuous manufacturing process, experience in a supply and fit / design and construction business.    With a proven track record in managing and growing medium sized businesses ($40M+), you will have demonstrated strong sales management, sales, business development and marketing skills, high level operational, contract, commercial, and financial capability, strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills - know how to manage and motivate a team, and build on the success of a well-established business in a competitive and specialised marketplace with the ultimate goal in achieving further growth, market share and continued profitability.
