  •   Regional Sales Manager – QLD (Ref 401659)      

    • Building Industry – Architectural Products Background

    • Innovative quality stylish product range – Residential, Commercial

    • $80-85K + Super + Bonus + Car allowance (Circa 100K salary)

    • Join a well-established National Company that design, manufacture, and sell a range of innovative and quality products for the Residential and Commercial building sectors, through a national sales and distribution network.  The Company offer:  traditional decorative ranges and design and manufacturing process for bespoke products to the architectural / design segment.  Due to an internal promotion, they now require a professional sales Executive to join the business and continue to build on the company’s considerable success in QLD.  This will involve executing the Company’s marketing and sales strategy to achieve set sales and profit budgets.

    • As Regional Sales Manager for QLD (including NNSW), you will report to the National Business Development Manager and be responsible for:

    • promoting and servicing the Companies high profile brand and product offering to new and existing customers (Appointed Distributors / Resellers, Architects, Designers, Builders, Hospitality, Retail & Government)

    • training, developing, and providing technical assistance / support to your Distributors / Resellers sales teams

    • creating / assisting in instore product displays and promotions / ensuring merchandising materials are being displayed to generate sales.

    • proactively developing relationships with Architects, Designers / Specifiers, Builders, and the commercial project market – to gain specification and the “pull through” of product in the project marketplace.  This is a key area for the business and will account for 70% of your time.

    • company presentations including CPD presentations – Architects / Specifiers; Trade, Home & Design Shows etc.

    • providing “market intelligence” and input

    • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales and specification success in the building industry, and may have experience with internal fit out products, decorative products etc.  You will have:

    • sold through Specialist Resellers / Appointed Distributors / Wholesalers (ie Hardware, Timber)

    • demonstrated providing technical assistance, as well as training and effectively developing Reseller sales teams

    • experience developing relationships with Residential and Commercial Builders, Architects, Designers, Specifiers, and may have also sold into the Hospitality, Retail and Government Sectors

    • strong presentation skills (including to groups)

    • excellent communication & interpersonal skills

    • strong time management and prioritization skills
